The Law Of One (Part 2)

In Part 1 of our examination of The Law Of One we laid out the core philosophy expressed.

The Law of One, also known as the Ra Material, is a series of 106 channeled sessions conducted between 1981 and 1984 by L/L Research—Don Elkins, Carla Rueckert, and Jim McCarty. In these sessions, a sixth-density social memory complex called Ra, which originated on Venus about 2.6 billion years ago, communicated profound spiritual teachings through Carla Rueckert. Ra describes itself as a humble messenger of the Law of One, emphasizing the unity of all existence and the infinite nature of consciousness.

If you’re unfamiliar with terms like “6th Density” and “Social Memory Complex” don’t feel bad. Until the Ra Channelings, most people weren’t familiar with these concepts either. Let me quickly explain so those who are new to this material won’t be lost.

Densities are states of existence that range from the purely physical to the purely energetic or spiritual. The lower the density the more separation from each other and Source is perceived. Conversely, the higher the density the less separation from each other and Source is perceived. A 6th Density Social Memory Complex is a civilization that has ascended to a very high state of consciousness, where due to spiritual connection, all thoughts of the population are shared. It is also in close communication and communion with Source. Densities are a metaphysical concept to help in the understanding of the nature of existence. Specifically how consciousness evolves from separation to union with Source. How it moves from being in a physical body to being in an energy or spiritual body.

It’s important to note that when using this construct, different teachers divide the Densities into different phases. Ra chooses to use 7 distinct Densities, others more or less. The important thing to remember is that what this seeks to illuminate is the various existential frequencies along a spectrum from more dense (more physical) to less dense (more energetic/spiritual). The numbers are arbitrary distinctions as consciousness is able to transcend the Density a particular entity finds itself in. Perhaps this quote from Ra will shed some light on this concept.

“The Confederation of Planets in the Service of the infinite Creator has only one important statement. That statement, my friends, as you know, is that all things, all life, all of the creation is part of one original thought.

Let us for a moment consider thought. What is it, my friends, to take thought? Took you then thought today? What thoughts did you think today? What thoughts were part of the original thought today? In how many of your thoughts did the creation lie? Was love contained? And was service freely given?

You are not part of a material universe. You move your body, your mind, and your spirit in somewhat eccentric patterns for you have not completely grasped the concept that you are part of the original thought.

Creation is a single entity or unity. If only a single entity exists, then the only concept of service is the concept of service to self. If this single entity subdivides, then the concept of service of one of its parts to one of its other parts is born. From this springs the equality of service to self or to others.

The creation itself is a form of consciousness which is unified, the Logos (Divine Intelligence) being the one great heart of creation.

The polarities begin to be explored at the point when a third density entity becomes aware of the possibility of choice between the concept of service to self or service to others. This marks the end of what you may call the unself-conscious or innocent phase of conscious awareness.”

When I first read this, I have to admit I didn’t really get the deeper implications Ra was communicating. As my consciousness has expanded over the years I can now see that “all of creation being one singular thought” is a perception altering concept. This means that every individual in existence (throughout all time and space) and every second of their life experiences was thought into existence by Source in an instant. It can be thought of as a singular particle/wave that can travel at infinite speed through time and space creating the illusion of other particles/waves that form a whole. In fact, it is all the same particle/wave vibrating at various frequencies to create the illusion of individuation for the purpose of experience and choice.

Therefore, nothing can exist that isn’t Source. It can only have the appearance and/or perception of being separate. Even as the shining facets of a diamond appear to be distinct, they are intrinsic to the gem and would not exist without it. Even as waves arise from the Ocean and appear as individuals, moving through time and space, eventually they merge back into the body from which they arose and become part of the all.

Quantum Mechanics tells us that time is an illusion. Everything is actually happening all at once. The past, the present and the future all exist simultaneously. This only makes sense if the entire creation was one singular thought. It also implies that what we consider reality was created out of Source imagination. This makes thought, or consciousness the particle/wave that creates everything we see. What we call “inanimate objects” being created by (and comprised of) Source Consciousness, must have a form of Divine Intelligence, even if unrecognizable to us. All intelligence must have a Divine Source origin. When it becomes “Self Aware” and understands it has a choice of “service to self” or “service to others” the entity begins to travel through the Densities on it’s journey back to Source.

The Law Of One material makes it plain that both paths lead back to Source as there could be no other destination for intelligence/consciousness that originates with and is, Source. However, it describes the “service to self” path as an arduous journey full of many lessons that teach appreciation for what is beneficial by experiencing what is harmful. This soul/individuation experiences many more lifetimes in lower densities as it is unable to ascend until it comes to understand what it truly wants by experiencing what it doesn’t want.

If you’re having trouble with the concept that Source individuated itself into many souls or conscious beings here’s a parallel example that may help. When a writer imagines and writes a novel, he must create characters to experience and inhabit the situations and circumstances he writes. Some of these characters are protagonists and others are antagonists. But each is the author projecting himself into the character and imagining what they are experiencing and thinking. The more fully the writer can project him/herself into the fictional character, the more real they become to the writer. I can tell you from experience that the writer is not only all the characters, but lives what they experience emotionally and sometimes energetically. This could be a whole future blog post.

Don Elkins was a Physicist and Ufologist, and therefore asked the Ra Social Memory Complex many questions about history and the involvement of Extraterrestrials. One of the things he uncovered is that our Sun and Planet Earth, being sentient beings in their own right, exist in all the Densities. In other words, there are different versions of Earth existence for souls (consciousnesses) depending on the frequency they resonate with. From time to time, Mother Earth (and other inhabited planets) “harvest” souls from lower densities to higher. The last time this happened was in the days of Atlantis. For millennia the people had embraced the Law Of One and so lived in harmony and prosperity. But distortions crept in that put many on the “service to self” path. The two vibrations were incompatible as the collective consciousness of one group was manifesting a reality that diverged from the other.

The result was the “harvesting” of the “service to others” souls into a higher density existence. Without the love and kindness of the “harvested” souls in the Atlantean society, it quickly spiraled out of control and the dark thoughts of the collective consciousness manifested dark cataclysms. This was the time of the great flood that reset society and civilization to the world history we know today. In other words, all the ruthless history after the flood can be traced back to the last “harvest”. We are the ancestors (and the reincarnations) of those who chose “service to self”. When you take the “service to others” people out of a society, it quickly devolves into catastrophe.

However, over the course of many incarnations, many “service to self” souls learn the error of their ways and choose the “service to others” path. Their collective consciousness becomes firmly fixed on a vision of the future where love (not fear) rules, and a divergent reality begins to coalesce out of their intention. Source and Mother Earth recognize this as “harvest time”. One group of people being released from the penitentiary of 3D existence to connect with their higher density galactic family, while the other group descends into the lowest expression of 3D existence which involves the manifestation of their worst fears.

Currently you have civilization and society on Planet Earth rapidly diverging into distinct mindsets. I don’t mean politically or religiously. It’s not about doctrinal purity, it’s about an orientation of the heart. Do you care about the suffering of others or do you live by a philosophy of “as long as I get mine, F everyone else”? Do you seek to understand another’s viewpoint or are you only concerned with imposing your beliefs on everyone else? As you can see, this criteria cuts across and negates political rhetoric and religious dogma. It looks at the core existential motivations of the individual. It’s not about what you say you believe, but rather what your actions demonstrate you believe.

This is the elegant simplicity of the Law Of One. May we all remember the beauty of oneness and unity.
