The song Walk Gently (Through the World) by MENTAGENESIS was inspired by An Apache Blessing (Author Unknown). It’s a benediction that I always found very moving due to my own love for nature. The concept of the Conscious Cosmos album is to explore the philosophy or doctrine of Panpsychism (Consciousness that is everywhere) through music. Being that An Apache Blessing demonstrates how Panpsychism influenced Native American beliefs, it seemed a natural way to conclude the album. What could be better than to leave my listeners with a Biophilian blessing? And finally, for Children of all ages, I wrote a book. It teaches in a fun and humorous way. It explains the concepts of being curious, open-minded, and a critical thinker. It explore the variety of ocean creatures.

Finnegan is a fish in the Great Wide Ocean who goes on a journey to see all he can of his watery world. He encounters many colorful characters along the way. Then he has an encounter that causes him to question the things he’s been taught in school. He and his Angelfish friend Gabby begin to explore the idea that there may be more to the world than the wet one they live in.
