Astral Adventures with Marilyn Monroe.

Many people are unaware that living right along-side the material realm on this planet is another plane where consciousness can also be expressed in bodily form, although the existential rules are somewhat different than that of the material realm. These are the lower Astral and higher Astral planes and the bodies souls animate here are energy bodies that are formed by the consciousness of the individuals who inhabit them. Both realms have this is common, they are generated by beliefs derived, formulated and adopted in the material realm which we call the physical existence of life.

Souls carry forward their beliefs to the afterlife experience and very much experience what they expect. Where these realms differ is that the lower Astral is formed by fearful and harmful beliefs that cause much frustration and the higher is formed by hopeful and joyfully expectant beliefs that create an experience of much fulfillment. The lower has less connection with Source and the higher is closer to the Infinite Being. Both are intermediate places were souls may reside after their physical death until they are ready to reincarnate or return to Source integration. In fact, they are the same realm only at different existential vibrations and are constructed out of the energy of pure belief and imagination by the energy beings (souls) who inhabit them. Note: The highest levels of the Astral are not tied to any one planet or place but are created for and by those who vibrate at the highest frequency of Pure Source Energy. It’s where we get the term 7th Heaven from.

There are several factors that determine where a soul will reside on the Astral spectrum of existence after death of the physical body, the biggest one being what vibration the consciousness of the individual resonates with. A low vibration consciousness is not compatible with a high vibration realm such as the higher Astral and similarly a high vibration consciousness would feel uncomfortable and out of place in a low vibration reality such as the lower Astral. Fear of punishment for deeds done in the material life is most often the factor that keeps souls from migrating upward to the various levels of the higher Astral. Although sometimes it can be a desire to seek vengeance for a wrongful death (or miserable life) that keeps a person in the lower Astral- as it has the most connection with the material plane. A consciousness (soul) in the Astral can have an effect on the thoughts of those who are incarnated in the material realm- the extent of which is determined by how closely they resonate in energy vibration. These individuals are what we call “ghosts” and we’ve all heard tales of people whose thoughts are haunted by the dead who are seeking revenge against a tormentor or murderer. Of course there are also those there who just haven’t realized yet or can’t accept that their physical incarnation is over, so they try to go about life in the fashion they were accustomed to in their material incarnation often attaching themselves to buildings or places they frequented when in the flesh.

The lower Astral is a strange world. It’s inhabited by many beings who are only partially connected to Source and therefore their manifestation abilities are not the greatest. As a result, many of the buildings that appear there are run-down and/or shoddily constructed, not to mention over-occupied by many generations of souls.

Many have a dark and foreboding vibe having been the location a soul remembers where a harmful deed took place. In addition to this, there are those in the lower Astral who lived in many different epochs as related to the material world so the architecture can be a jumble of styles. This is because the many souls who lived there are creating it from their memories of many different time periods. For instance, you might see a saloon from the old west on a street that otherwise has buildings constructed in the mid 20th Century. Cars from various decades may ply the same streets as well as street cars and conveyances from various times of human history. In the upper regions of the lower Astral there is a twilight quality to the light and the weather is often gloomy and overcast. At lower levels, the tonality is dark and the weather can be stormy. Surreal is the best way to describe the overall atmosphere.

The scariest thing is that it’s the afterlife habitation of low vibration souls; the greedy, corrupt, thieves, liars, killers, rapists, pedophiles, mass murderers and all those victims who wait for perpetrators to die so they can have their revenge. Meticulously plotted acts of retribution are carried out against these individuals using psychic weapons which have much more power in the Astral. The souls dedicated to revenge often maintain the grisly appearance of what they looked like when they died while they wait to confront a perpetrator after their death, making for a ghoulish looking population. Not unlike a never-ending horror movie.

As you can see, the lower Astral is not a place of eternal rest at all. It’s more a state of ever-lasting frustration as beings addicted to various forms of soul-destructive behavior try desperately to find satisfaction through low vibration actions that further erodes their soul essence. For those committed to this path, it can sometimes further separate them from Source until they become entities who can only fulfill their destructive urges and addictions through possession of weak souls incarnated in the physical whose low vibration is a match. Other, more contrite souls choose reincarnation and learning experiences as a way to escape the lower astral.

Contrast this to the higher Astral where forgiveness and healing are the only way to vibrate at a high enough frequency to stay there. Anyone in high vibration Astral who seeks to commit an act of violence or revenge against another would immediately find themselves sinking to the lower Astral. If they want to be transported out of the realm of frustration and back to the afterlife of fulfillment, they have to forgive and abandon the desire for revenge and retribution. This is often helped by a review of their own life where they experience how they made others feel and the pain they inflicted by the choices they made which they may have felt were totally justified at the time.

Interestingly, many people don’t realize that sometimes when they dream, they are visiting the Astral Realm. Have you had a dream(s) where you are free from physical limitations and able to fly without mechanics or swim underwater without needing to hold your breath? Maybe you could run without getting tired or manifest things or travel to places by thought alone? Did you find yourself in a place of incredible beauty and have a sense of uninhibited joy and/or happiness? This is a strong indication you’ve visited the higher vibe Astral realm in your dream-state. Especially if you’ve spent time with departed loved ones and shared tender moments.

On the other hand, if you’ve visited places that have a surreal and foreboding quality and/or experienced frustrating or scary experiences it could well be that you’ve paid a visit to the lower astral. For instance, if you knew yourself to be in a certain familiar place, but it looked like a bad copy, dilapidated or deformed and your experiences gave you an uneasy or frustrated feeling- this is a good indication of lower astral visitation. Most nightmares are an intrusion of lower astral entities into your dream state. They seek to rob you of the rest and rejuvenation that connecting with Source brings.

How does it happen that you find yourself in the lower or higher Astral when you dream? First of all, understand that dreaming is a real state of being closer to the spiritual or energy realm than the physical or material. You are existing in a world created by your thoughts- which are energy. Therefore your consciousness (soul) is set free from the material body and is in it’s natural element- the world of energy.

A meme that reads: "Take a moment today and purposefully connect with your Higher Self. It is the part of you that is always connected with Source. It is filled with love, compassion and wisdom. It holds no judgment or fear. It is you in your purest form of light."

Energy carries a certain frequency of vibration. Therefore in your dream state you will experience the realm that most closely matches your vibration. Or it may be said you experience the realm that is most affecting your vibration. Perhaps you are of low vibration and your higher self wants to call you up to a higher frequency- it may send your dreaming self to the higher Astral to give you a taste of what you’re missing. If you’re of high vibration but have been tempted with low vibration behavior, your H.S. may feel a visit to the lower Astral might jar you into reconsidering how you want to experience your existence.

These are not the only factors that can precipitate a lower or higher Astral excursion. Strong desire and longing to be with a loved one who has passed on can certainly be a factor as can concern for the soul of a departed individual. For instance, there are those high vibe souls incarnated in the physical world who are Astral Rescuers by night. In their dream-state, they visit souls who have wrongfully imprisoned themselves in the lower Astral because they were made afraid of Source (God) through religion (or the condemnation of the religious) and feel they deserve to be punished for things they did while in their material incarnation. Ironically, it’s fear that has lowered their vibration and keeps them in the lower astral and not a vindictive or unforgiving Deity. The fact they feel sorry for the mistakes they made and the people they hurt is the best indication that they deserve a higher vibration afterlife. If they were of lower vibration they would justify their hurtful actions and put the blame for them on someone else.

The Astral Rescuer finds the soul, talks to them about the unconditional love of Source and about forgiving themselves. If they accept this counseling, they rise to the higher Astral. If they hold on to their low vibe, fearful beliefs they may stay in the lower Astral and seek fulfillment through trying to interact with the material realm. This to make amends and/or continue to experience a similar life in the Astral to what they had in their material existence but make better choices.

Due to the psychic influence of their victims shaming them, many choose a karmic reincarnation where they re-enter the material world in bodily form with a life plan that has them experiencing the harmful things they recognize themselves to have done in their past incarnation and feel guilty about. For instance, a ruthless military conqueror responsible for injuring/killing many innocent people may choose the life of a paraplegic as a way to balance the scales for past life sins so they can feel worthy of ascending to the higher Astral in their next afterlife.

Please note this is not to say that all people experiencing challenging physical incarnations did something wrong in a past life. Many souls seek limiting incarnations purely for the soul-growth that can be derived from experiencing these extremely challenging lifetimes.

Finally, there are those high vibe souls who use the higher regions of the lower Astral for the purpose of fulfilling certain missions that were part of their incarnational plan. I once experienced a dream journey with an absolutely delightful Norma Jean/Marilyn Monroe driving me around lower astral, late 1950s Hollywood California in a pristine pink 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. She loved this car, and was very proud of it. Please note this was not a sex dream, nor am I one who fantasizes about Marilyn Monroe in the waking world. While she’s always been a person I have admiration for and curiosity about, I’m not obsessed with her.

We met at the front gates of Paramount Studios. Marilyn was happy to see me and greeted me as an old friend. Her desire was to show me all the places that were significant to her life as Norma Jean/Marilyn Monroe- such as the theater where she first decided she would become a movie star. I could sense she was of a higher vibration than this level of the astral so I asked her why she was hanging out in this decrepit version of Los Angeles instead of ascending? Was it to seek revenge or bring someone to justice? Her gentle laughter and answer surprised me.

She confirmed that she had been murdered but said she had forgiven the perpetrators even before they had committed the crime. What was important to her is that her legacy remain alive. She explained she had incarnated into the Earth experience to bring as much joy, inspiration and instruction to as many individuals as possible through the character of Marilyn Monroe. She explained that she viewed her whole life as a performance- the portrayal of a lost little girl who overcame all odds and obstacles to reach super-stardom. She confirmed that her addictions and vulnerabilities were part of a well crafted cautionary tale. It had always been a part of her life-plan that she die at the height of her physical beauty and success and then manage her legacy from the afterlife. To keep her memory alive was why she chose to frequently visit the upper ranges of the lower Astral to “whisper in some ears” as she put it. She laughed when she noted that’s she’s even more popular today on a world-wide basis than she was when in her physical body. “I’m doing a pretty good job- don’t you think?” she said as she winked, smiled and then pulled the car into the parking lot of her favorite fast food drive-in restaurant from the era.

I also got the impression that she was a very big soul and this expression of her was just one aspect that was dedicated to this mission. I fully understood that other versions of her were out there in the Universe accomplishing other agendas and life-plans which required her to be very responsible and circumspect. This version of her seemed to love the Earth and especially this time period (1940s-1950s) and all it’s intrigues and irresponsible freedoms. While she experienced pain from her dysfunctional childhood and adult associations, she adored the people, customs, art, fashions, technology and opportunities. It was a playground for her magnificent, interstellar soul to shine!

I hope you enjoyed this little astral escapade. Ever since my own close brush with death as recounted in the blog post It’s Only Death, After All I’ve often visited the Astral in my dreams, many times called there by individuals who have passed on. As always, this article is my interpretation of things that have happened to me in conjunction with much study on the subject of NDE’s (Near Death Experiences) and a familiarity with beliefs about the afterlife from many sources both ancient and contemporary, terrestrial and extraterrestrial.
